In this article we consider Dehn surgeries on strongly invertible knots
yielding lens spaces by considering band attaches to (2,2p)-torus links
yielding the trivial knot.
We show that no Dehn surgery on nontrivial
strongly invertible knot can
produce the lens space L(2p,1) for any integer p.
